These are some of the cheapest places in Europe that are wonderful to travel to in the summer

- Skopje is a wonderful city and it’s cheap. What a magnificent combination of beauty.
- Skopje to me is one of the most wonderful untraveled gems on the planet.
- This city is guaranteed to knock your socks off!
- Now, this city isn’t the cheapest on the list but it may be my favorite in terms of how architecturally beautiful this place is! Everywhere you look is a sight to behold.

- Kukes, Albania
- Low hotel prices: ~$20+
- Low hostel prices: ~$7+ But be aware, the hostels are usually 10+ miles away. With Kukes go with the hotels unless you’re traveling by car.
- Cheap restaurant price: ~$4+ for a full meal
- Albania is a country very close to my heart. This country will stun you from not only a historical perspective but the more modern Albania will blow your mind.
- I firmly believe that at some point in your existence you should absolutely visit this marvelous country.
- Kukes itself is a great city with grandiose mountains outside of it for a spectacular view.

- My first experience with Ukraine was spending a lot of time trying to get through the border. After I stepped through that border the feeling I had with what I saw was indescribable. I could barely find any cars, and the people treated me with such warm vibrations.
- By these phenomenal prices, you quickly understand why this is the list of cheap places to travel in the summer
- This is a city I will absolutely try to keep going back to, over and over again.
- Lviv is a very unique city with a historical area everywhere you go.
- I recommend going up to the Church of Olga and Elizabeth to get the highest view of the city.

- I stumbled into the city traveling to Bratislava and immediately had to stay here.
- This place is fairly unknown and exceptionally worth coming to.
- This city is beautiful architecture along with unique fountains everywhere.
- If you come here and it’s too hot, don’t forget to hit the pools.

- This will always be one of my most memorable cities throughout my traveling life.
- I can’t describe this city in a way that will convey how intrinsically beautiful it truly is.
- You must experience this city. I do not say such a thing so casually, in this circumstance at least.
- This of course is such an amazing city, and it’s also cheap! Which lands it on the 5th for cheap places to travel in the summer
- The people of Bulgaria will treat you with such hospitality that’s inconceivable to most of us.

- Chances are you might have heard of this city!
- This city is unbelievably extravagant! Whether it’s the bridges, the areas where many of the movies you have seen have actually been filmed, or the wonderful water.
- The prices can seem a bit random so it might be helpful to look things up in advance. I assure you there are many cheap places here and that’s why it’s on the list of cheap places to travel in the summer
- If you can make it to the Budapest thermal baths, don’t even hesitate. It’s SUCH a memorable experience!

- Pristina, Kosovo

- Cheap restaurant price: ~$3+ for a full meal
- This place might be the most unique on the list.
- If you decide to come to Pristina, make sure to go to the library. Go in and check out some of the histories of Kosovo.
- Remember, Kosovo didn’t even get its independence until 2008!
- One unexpected find in Pristina was an abandoned theme park. If you’re also into abandoned places, definitely check it out!
- If you’re into trails, go towards Dr. Shpetim Robaj and head into the forest. You’ll find wonderful little trails and a nice workout spot.

- If you like beaches this is your spot.
- Split is a marvelous place in the summer.
- When you’re in Split, try to check out Diocletian’s Palace.
- When you’re hungry head to the green market, buy some fresh fruit and vegetables.
- It didn’t take long for me for this city to heavily resonate with me. I love beaches so this beautiful place captured me quickly.

- Beyond being one of the most historic places in existence, it can also be cheap!
- You seriously have to come here at some point, it’s a much-needed experience.
- I’ve got a lot of great memories here and want to come back soon. The people I’ve met here have been so special. I would highly recommend Athens
- When you’re in Athens, go to the coastline near the Aegean Sea get on a cruise ship and pick one of the great islands. I would personally recommend Santorini if you’re with a partner, Mykonos if you want to party, and Crete if you want a more cultural perspective.

- Bratislava is another city you could spend 200 years in and it wouldn’t be enough time
- There are SO many wonderful things to do in this place.
- Go relax in the city center, people watch, talk to locals and enjoy this great city.
- If you’re in Bratislava, check out the Bratislava Castle, the random statutes all over the place, the Danube River, the UFO bridge, and of course the Devin Castle.
