Today I’ll give you a brief rundown on 10 reasons you should travel to Frankfurt Germany
I fell in love with Frankfurt during my 2nd experience with it. I wish I would have seen this little guide before my first trip
Frankfurt has some phenomenal weather (depending on what time you go) a wonderful atmosphere and very welcoming locals
- Bockenheimer Warte
- This is the best subway entrance I have ever seen in my life!
- What started out as complete destruction came out as a beautiful masterpiece
- I believe everyone if they are traveling anywhere around Frankfurt, Germany should most definitely check this creative design out
- Without ruining the mere idea of it too much it is an art piece that works as an actual subway entrance

- Museumsufer
- Welcome to the gorgeous sunset which is the Frankfurts museum cluster of life
- This is an area where most of the museums in Frankfurt are, directly beside the luxurious water
- For what it is worth my two favorite museums in this section of town are the German Architecture Museum and the Historical Museum
- When you do travel to Frankfurt Germany make sure you check out the lazy man’s block. You will be able to go from museum to museum as easy as possible

- Frankfurt City Forest
- You will dream of this place when and if you leave
- The first time I saw this place I was in a sense of absolute awe. There are captivating spots all over this forest.
- I highly encourage you to explore it and see what intricacies you can spot
- If you travel to Frankfurt Germany I don’t mean to metaphysically force you to come to the Frankfurt City Forest but… If there’s one place on this entire list that I think you should visit this would either be number one or two

- Schirn Kunsthalle Frankfurt
- If you love art, this is the place for you.
- They have both modern and contemporary art here. There’s enough art for your viewing pleasure to allow a hefty afternoon spent here
- A friend of mine that went here wasn’t even into art and highly enjoyed it. Don’t hesitate just because you yourself are not an artist or you are not exactly obsessed with art. I completely believe you will still find much value to be had in the Schirn Kunsthalle Frankfurt

- Main Tower
- This absolute monstrosity of a skyscraper has two viewing platforms and a whopping five underground floors
- I recommend at least going to one of the viewing platforms and enjoying the marvelous city view. This may be the best view you can get of the city of Frankfurt
- You cannot go wrong with this 56 story freak of nature. It not only gives you a wonderful view but the building itself can be very pleasing to the eyes

- Frankfurt Zoo
- The zoo was founded in 1858 making it the oldest zoo in all of Germany
- If you dream of animals, I suggest you heed their call and check this wonderful zoo out
- This is one of the best zoos on the planet by far
- There are more animals in this zoo than you can even imagine, I couldn’t believe how expansive the universe of critters here really turned out to be

- Palmengarten
- This is what is in my opinion, by far the best botanical garden in all of Frankfurt. Realistically I would say it is one of the best botanical gardens that I have ever personally seen
- If you are into garden greenery, you are going to love spending a few hours here, don’t get too relaxed here though because there’s so much more to see
- Some of the structures here were destroyed in World War 2 and has since been replaced
- I will have you know this is also the largest garden in all of Germany at a staggering seventy two acres
- You are going to fall in love with the set-up of the botanical garden

- Grüneburg park
- This park has not only beauty but history
- In the 1700s this was purely a park for a castle then skip to the 1800s. The Rothschilds bought this and had built an enormous mansion-like palace. Under the Nazi regime Albert (particular Rothschild) had to give up the home and it was later destroyed in an air raid in 1944
- I am sure you will thoroughly enjoy this park, there are many trees and lots of space for numerous activities to please yourself

- The Goethe House
- I will be honest here, I’m a bit biased considering I’m a large fan of Goethe so I warn you now. However, I do believe there is much to enjoy and learn at The Goethe House even if you aren’t already a fan
- If you aren’t familiar with Goethe, now is your time to shine. Get in here and learn about a fascinating character in history
- I’m sure you heard about the story where a man sells his soul to the devil, well guess who formed that story? Goethe created this story which was originally a play called Faust
- Goethe is such an interesting person, I highly recommend that you give this house a chance

- Eschenheimer Turm
- To summarize, this place is a giant medieval tower
- There is also a subway station underneath this tower that was formed in the 1960s
- This is one of the oldest and unaltered buildings of its time, this building deserves to be admired a little more than it currently does

- Iron Footbridge
- This beautiful bridge connects the center of Frankfurt with the district of Sachsenhausen
- The first wrought iron bridge was built in 1868
- You must come to check this amazing bridge out, it’s pretty spectacular, especially in person

- Frankfurt Cathedral
- I give you the largest religious building in the entire city, Frankfurt Cathedral
- You cannot help but stare at this phenomenal structure in awe
- The first time I saw the Frankfurt Cathedral, it completely got me by surprise. It is amazing what things you can stumble on sometimes.
- If your plan is to travel to Frankfurt Germany, definitely make your way over here for a visit.

- Kleinmarkthalle
- This is a massive market hall with more grocery areas than you could ever deal with
- I recommend walking around here while spontaneously purchasing items that look great to you and whipping up a concoction of delight by mixing everything together
- If you are wondering, this is indoors so you will not have to worry about the weather

- Senckenberg Natural History Museum
- By the name of the museum, you can tell that it indeed is a natural history museum. You can expect dinosaurs, wonderful architecture, loads of information, and an overall joyous time spent
- If you have a few hours I would highly suggest going to this museum even if you are not particularly interested in natural history or dinosaurs for that matter
- This has to be my favorite museum in all of Frankfurt if I am being totally honest. However, I am biased as I am obsessed with dinosaurs

- Pinkelbaum (Peeing Tree)
- I could not believe how cool something so seemingly primitive is. This is a peeing tree, that’s right, a peeing tree!
- When you travel to Frankfurt Germany, it is my opinion that it is imperative to visit the peeing tree on your trip
- Don’t tell anyone and surprise your friends and family with the peeing tree. If you catch the angle correctly, you will get them incredibly wet
