5. Rincon Guayabitos – Lo de Marcos
- Difficulty: Moderate
- How to get to Rincon Guayabitos – Lo de Marcos: Head South West of Nayarit, get on Interstate Highway 200 until you get to Rincon Guayabitos. Your destination will be on Privada Albatros
- Duration of hike: The average person takes roughly 5 hours to complete
- Trail length: 11.8 miles
- Elevation: 1,473 feet

- Don’t worry, this is the longest trail on my entire list. Given the elevation of this bad mama jama, if you’re a complete beginner you may want to keep scrolling for easier trails. Unless of course, you are up for the challenge
- You will encounter so many eccentric and varying scenes during this trail. You will encounter forests, beaches, and stereotypical trail beauty
- As far as hiking Sayulita goes, Lo de Marcos will bring you the most varied hiking experience
- I would highly recommend this trail if you are ready for a more difficult trail, have a considerable amount of time, and want a marvelous adventure
4. Los Ayala – Estero Loop
- Difficulty: Moderate
- How to get to Los Ayala – Estero Loop: Head West of Los Ayala on Avenida del Estero and you will see the trail
- Duration of hike: On average it will take you roughly 2 hours to complete this trail
- Trail length: 4.4 miles
- Elevation: 603 feet

- I’ll be honest with you, all of these trails are incredible, to say the least. You can choose any or all of them and have a fabulous time
- This trail is my all-time favorite type of trail, loop trails have a pure sense of elegance that other trail types just cannot reach
- In terms of hiking Sayulita, one cannot go wrong with The Estero loop… Unless you aren’t looking to have fun
- Similar to the last trial, this trail has a bit of jungle and beach. So if you are a fan of both you will have a lot of adoration for this trail
3. Mirador del Toro
- Difficulty: Easy
- How to get to Mirador del Toro: Head to the same area as the last trail
- Duration of hike: The average person takes roughly 2 hours to complete this trail
- Trail length: 3.8 miles
- Elevation: 843 feet

- Honestly speaking, this may actually be my legitimate favorite trail on the list, it’ll be our little secret
- If there was one trail that I would guarantee that you would have an elaborately beautiful time, it would definitely be Mirador del Toro
- You will see red arrows on trees as the guide through the trail
- One thing to be ready for is the fact that mosquitoes tend to enjoy this trail nearly as much as you and I do
- If you are worried about the sun, thankfully you needn’t be worried considering much of this trail is covered in splendid shade
2. El Monteón – Los Ayala
- Difficulty: Moderate
- How to get to El Monteón: This trail begins directly in the North West part of El Monteón off of Calle Punta Raza (road)
- Duration of hike: The average person takes roughly 5 hours to complete this trail
- Trail length: 10.3 miles
- Elevation: 2,007 feet

- I know what you are thinking… you thought the first trail was going to be the toughest trail on the list. Well no, the first trail is simply the longest, this trail is actually the most difficult
- When you are in the search of hiking Sayulita, and you have a large portion of time… Come on over to Los Ayala
- If the concept of jungle trails interests you, look no further considering you will be in a state of pure bliss on this journey
- If you are ready for a challenge with some great views and a large amount of elevation… you found your match, I encourage you to try Los Ayala out

- How to get to Playa del Toro: Head West of Los Ayala and the trail will be off of Avenida del Estero
- Duration of hike: The average person takes around 2 hours to complete this trail
- Trail length: 3.7 miles
- Elevation: 830 feet

- If you are into lovely beaches, this hike is going to saturate your heart with adoration
- Are you a beginner? If so, this trail would be the absolute best for you
- The reason I have listed Playa del Toro on the highest tier of my list of top 5 hiking trails in Sayulita, Mexico is simply because of the surreal scenery
- When it comes to hiking Sayulita, Playa del Toro offers an experience that transcends the higher tiers of all nearby hikes. The trails mixture of ease and emanation of beauty forms a higher standard when it comes to hiking
