Today I’m going to tell you about what in my opinion are the best hikes in Breckenridge, Colorado. Of course, you will have to travel a bit outside of Breckenridge to get to some of these hikes, don’t worry, they are well worth it.

5 – Glacier Mountain
- Difficulty level: Easy
- How to get to Glacier Mountain: You want to go to Montezuma and take 275
- Time duration of hike: Approximately 8 hours round trip
- Length: 10.5 miles
- Elevation gain: 2,165 feet

- You aren’t going to regret this trip to Glacier Mountain. However, your legs may be incredibly tired depending on how often you hike
- This is the first of the best hikes in Breckenridge, Colorado and it certainly could be your personal favorite out of the list. Don’t assume it’s a bad one just because it’s number five
- Though this may possibly be your favorite, I must admit that it is indeed my least favorite on the list. It is also quite possibly the furthest away from Breckenridge
4 – Tenmile Peak
- Difficulty level: Hard
- How to get to Tenmile Peak: Start from either Frisco or Breckenridge and head on the Masontown trail. (It will be off of 7t avenue in Frisco and from Breckenridge head off of S Main street between the Hyatt residence and Bold restaurant)
- Time duration of hike: Roughly 14 hours on average
- Length: 21.1 miles
- Elevation gain: 7,732 feet

- If you are looking for the easiest trail of all time you should probably pass on this one. I wouldn’t quite qualify the Tenmile Peak hike to be a beginner hike
- As far as the best hikes in Breckenridge, Colorado goes… This may be my favorite lengthy hike on the list. While it is a long hike it is not by any means impossible. You could probably do this even as a beginner but you will most likely struggle with a few sections.
- If you didn’t notice the elevation, I can testify that this hike does indeed get… steep
3 – Hoosier Ridge
- Difficulty level: Easy
- How to get to Tenmile Peak: Start right off of County Road 2 right beside Hoosier Pass. South of Breckenridge and South of The Blue River. It is directly beside The Montgomery Reservoir.
- Time duration of hike: On average it takes around 1 hour and a half.
- Length: 2.2 miles
- Elevation gain: 544 feet

- It would be a real challenge to attempt to talk in a disheartening way about this individual hike considering how not only easy but beautiful Hoosier Ridge is
- Though it is not my opinion that this is the best hike around Breckenridge, I would say if you have some time… definitely give this an hour or so of your time, you probably won’t regret it
- This is the shortest trial on the list, seriously give it a try! You’ll probably accidentally finish it without even realizing it, that is how quick this hike will be. Get out there!
2 – Quandary Peak
- Difficulty level: Hard
- How to get to Tenmile Peak: You will find the entrance South of Breckenridge and South of The Blue River. It is across Tordal Estates, there will be signs for it and plenty of parking areas.
- Time duration of hike: On average it takes roughly 5 and a half hours
- Length: 6.6 miles
- Elevation gain: 3,326 Feet

- Quandary Peak is probably the most famous hike on this list. On this hike, you will have the highest probability of seeing other human beings. It’s nearly a guarantee
- Speaking of the best hikes in Breckenridge, Colorado; this could certainly be my favorite though I wanted to mix it up considering how famous this specific trail is
- You will have an elegant time on this gorgeous hike. However, be warned, it is over 6 and a half miles each way so give it some extra time. Particularly if you are not an avid hiking enthusiast
1 – Mount Guyot
- Difficulty level: Hard
- How to get to Tenmile Peak: You want to head to Lincoln (directly to the East of Breckenridge) head on County Road 520 towards Little French Flume
- Time duration of hike: On average people take 5 and a half hours to complete this hike
- Length: 7.8 miles
- Elevation gain: 2,965

- Here we are ladies and gentlemen, Mount Guyot! This tops the best hikes in Breckenridge, Colorado. You are going to have a spectacular time on this hike.
- This is such a spectacular hike, you’re guaranteed to enjoy this hike… if you can handle an 8-mile hike with over 2,900 elevation, of course
- I wouldn’t suggest this hike for complete beginners. However, if you are not a total beginner, I’m begging you to create some fabulous memories and give this gorgeous hike a try!
